On this page, you can add a new trading pair by clicking on “Add Pair,” provided that you have connected an exchange.
You can also modify your trading strategy for a pair. There are several tabs available, including Buy settings, Sell settings, Balance settings, Indicators & ATR Trailing, DCA, and Stop loss.
Settings for Trading strategies:
Use the tabs (Buy settings, Sell settings, Balance settings, Indicators & ATR Trailing, DCA, Stop loss) to configure your strategy for a trading pair.
You don’t have to remember all these things. Here is a list of what trading settings are currently available. If you are a beginner, we would advise you to change only the default settings and not make your own strategy entirely.
If you don’t know anything about the nuxBot trading logic, we would recommend reading that first.
As a beginner we would recommend you to focus on these settings:
- Buy settings: xEMA, Buy Level
- Sell settings: % Profit Target
- Balance settings: Buy amount, DCA Buy amount, Max DCAs allowed
(We mean that you should take care of balance management so that a stop loss never has to happen. We would say at least 8-10 DCAs, even if that sounds a lot.)
Tip: At the beginning you can use Simulated Trading to test whether your strategy works well. - Indicators & ATR Trailing settings: ATR Trailing buy/sell multiplier, reverse
- DCA settings: DCA when…, Minimum -x% of last buy to allow DCA when…
- Our devs like “DCA when BB” more.
- Stop loss settings: SL when Trade is -x%
(Only if you sometimes want to accept losses and/or have too few DCAs.)
Important: Do not put “-” or “+” in front of any of the numbers, the bot will do it itself. Example: In the case of a stop loss, only the number should be entered, e.g. “20”. The bot then perceives this as “-20%”.
